Paragraph on "Visit to a Temple"

        My grandfather took me to a temple last Saturday. It was the temple of Hanuman. It was little away from the hustle and bustle of the city. There were many two-wheelers parked outside the temple. On one side there were two or three cars also. My grandfather told me that it was very auspicious to visit a Hanuman temple on a Saturday. There were many people outside the temple waiting for their turn to worship Hanumanji. When our turn came, like others, we also removed our shoes outside the temple building before entering the inner temple. My grandfather had brought oil and sindur to be offered to Hanumanji. On the walls of the temple, Hanuman Chalisa was written. My grandfather knows these lines oy heart. He recited the lines from his memory and I read the verses written on the walls. Hanuman is the symbol of vigour and courage. Many people believe that by reciting Hanuman Chalisa, they can get rid of fear. I prayed to Hanumanji to give me enough strength and courage to face the problems of life and also to do good to others. I also prayed to be active and not to be lazy at any time. We rang the bronze bells. Both of us applied sindur on our foreheads and took prasad from the poojari. We felt quite happy about the moments we spent at this temple and returned home.
