My favourite Sportsperson is Mahendra Singh Dhoni.
He joined the Indian Cricket Team in the year 2004. For
the first time, he played against Bangladesh.
Dhoni is a wicketkeeper as well as a batsman. He
comes to bat at any number and plays according to the
situation. He can play an aggressive game as well as a
patient one. Dhoni took 183 runs and was not out in India's
match against Sri Lanka. This is the highest score by any
wicketkeeper in a one-day international. This match was
played in Jaipur in the year 2005. Dhoni was a football
player before he joined cricket. I always read articles
written about Dhoni. Dhoni's pet name is Mahi. He is from
an ordinary family from Jharkhand. He loves and respects
Mr. Adam Gilchrist, the Australian wicketkeeper. The
energy and enthusiasm of Dhoni always motivate me to
work harder and harder. Dhoni's life is an example that
even ordinary people can be very successful by practice and
sincere efforts. One strange thing about Dhoni is that he
drinks four liters of milk every day.
