It was Sunday. We went to Kankaria Zoo. We bought entrance
tickets and entered the zoo. There were many animals and birds in the
zoo. We saw many wild animals like lion, leopards, tigers, panthers,
wolves, foxes, giraffes, zebras and deer. There was a separate section
for monkeys. We teased the monkey by making different sounds. There
was a section for birds also. We saw a white peacock there. The main
attraction for the children was an elephant. Children can have a ride
on the back of the elephant and they can take a round on it. We all
enjoyed the ride and watched the zoo happily. We returned home in
the evening.
