Pollution means a state of impurity. These days much discussion is being made upon Environmental Pollution in the world. Air, water, earth, trees, plants, etc. keep a proper environment upon earth. But any disturbance in the balance of any one of these things, creates environmental pollution. Presently many types of pollution are created in the world.
Increase in population is the main source of pollution. Man and his work discharge dirty water, urine and other waste matter. The extra-cutting of trees has disturbed the circle of seasons and consequently the people face many problems. Discharge of dirty water as well as chemicals from mills, factories and scientific experiments create pollution in environment.
Water is polluted with the dirty water of mills and factories. Smoke, dirt and other chemical waste from mills, factories, railway engines, buses, etc. pollute the air. We inhale the impure air and smoke which harm our health.
Then there is sound pollution. The harsh sound of the horns of cars, buses, railway engines, mills, factories, etc. disturbs our minds and ears. It effects our power of hearing and sometimes creates hearing trouble. Sound pollution is also very harmful to heart.
Pollution has a great effect upon our life. It has disturbed the circle of seasons. We cannot lead a healthy life. We suffer many diseases like. T.B., cancer, etc. The cereals, fruit, vegetables, etc. are also sure to suffer many kinds of diseases due to pollution.
We must control the increasing population. Besides we should adopt such means as may stop pollution in environment. Plantation is also very necessary to avoid pollution. Every citizen of the country should lead such life as may control the environmental pollution.
